BOTTOM-LIVING FISH
This group consists of fish that live more or less attached to the seabed, among rocks, on or buried in the sand, among seaweed, in seaweed beds, etc.
It should be noted that there are two types of bottom-dwelling fish: demersal and benthic. Demersal fish live near the bottom and depend on it. This group includes samas and sargos, among others. Benthic fish are closely linked to the bottom, as they live on or buried in it, so their ability to move is more limited. Sole, hake and chucho are some examples.
